It was hot this morning. So hot I woke up sweaty. At 8AM. After getting to sleep at 2AM.

Ugh.

Work was nice today, if hot.

A few weeks after I got here, one of my students moved away. He was a cool kid, and I wished I had more time to get to know him. Today, months after he and I had said goodbye, he shows up and is in my last class for the evening! He's on summer break, and wanted to drop by for another class. Hooray!

He's been taking lessons at a branch of our school near his apartment. His English really has improved since I last talked to him.

The evening has continued to be hot. The window and balcony are open, but there's very little breeze going through them. I'm going to see if I can get my air conditioner to work, but I don't know if I can, given that it's all in Japanese. Literally.

My vacation is close. So close I can taste it.
